Meditation of the Week

Guru Ram Das Healing Meditation on the Chakras
December 10, 1998
Italy

This is a very special meditation to promote healing and protection. It uses the mantra,

"Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru”

This is a special mantra of protection and healing, which invokes the power of the 4th Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das — the Guru of compassion, service and love. Chant softly and deeply, vibrating your lips on each chakra like this:

GURU 1st Chakra (Anus)
GURU 2nd Chakra (Reproductive organs)
WAHE 3rd Chakra (Navel Point)
GURU 4th Chakra (Heart Center)
GURU 5th Chakra (Throat Center)
RAM 6th Chakra (3rd Eye Point)
DAS 7th Chakra (Top of the Head)
GURU 8th Chakra (Aura)

At the same time, you can project and pray for the health, healing and protection of someone who needs it. This is an extremely powerful practice and will instantly change you.

Time: Start with 11 minutes a day. Build up to 31 minutes. Can be done as long as 2-1/2 hours a day.

*Chant the mantra in a monotone with no music.

Adi Shakti, Namo Namo Meditation 4/1/2008

Mudra: Sit in an easy, comfortable cross-legged position. Spine should be straight,
chin slightly into the chest. Make the hands into fists, thumbs on the outside. Bend the
elbows down by the sides, and bring the fists in front of each shoulder, palms facing
forward, index fingers pointing straight up. Hold the position.

Eyes: Close your eyes.

Mantra: Chant aloud to the Adi Shakti mantra sung by Gurudass Kaur of Spain:

Aad Shakti, Aad Shakti, Aad Shakti, Namo, Namo.

Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Namo, Namo.

Pritum Bagvati, Pritam Bagvati, Pritam Bagvati, Namo, Namo.

Kundalini, Mat Shakti, Mat Shakti, Namo, Namo.

--Sanskrit Slok
I bow to the Primal Power
I bow to the All Pervading Power
I bow to the Creative Power at the beginning.
I bow the mother of all peace.

Chant from the navel point. Sing with it; merge with it.

Time: No time limit was specified.

Comments/Effects: Whosoever can master this mantra, can make God dance.
These words may look very ordinary to you, but before these words, all creativity of God comes to a shuniaa. Zero. And you, yourself, elevate to Infinity.
Whenever you are in trouble, chant this chant. Everything shall be clear. There can be trouble some days, troublesome situations. This will clear it for you. If there is a time in your life where you have a miserable situation, exhaustive
environments come to confront you, which comes in everybody’s life, this is the Maha Shakti Mantra. Do this meditation, and let the past die and let prosperity live. Let you
die, and let your power live! This mantra can manifest Maha Shakti in you.

WALKING MEDITATION 3/24/2008

This walking meditation is very cleansing for the psyche and soothing to the mind. In
addition, walking helps balance the brain and gets the circulation going! The constant
movement of the legs provides a gentle massage to the internal organs, where we store
much of our stress.
Whether you walk in the country or city, it doesn’t matter; just put on some comfortable
walking shoes, and get started. As you walk, let your arms swing freely. Get into a
comfortable rhythm between the motion of the arms and the legs.
The mantra that can be used for this meditation is:
Sa-Ta-Na-Ma
Sa = Infinity Ta = Life Na = Death Ma = Rebirth
As you chant Sa, press the pads of the thumbs and index fingers firmly together.
As you chant Ta, press the pads of the thumbs and middle fingers firmly together.
As you chant Na, press the pads of the thumbs and ring fingers firmly together.
As you chant Ma, press the pads of the thumbs and pinkie fingers firmly together.
If you are able to chant the mantra aloud, that’s great. But if this isn’t possible, just recite
the sound current silently.
Allow yourself to relax and enjoy the experience, as you clear away some of the worries
from your mind.
Do this meditation for 31 minutes, for 40 days.

HONORING YOUR WOMANHOOD 3/15/2008

Sitting with a straight spine, place your left hand in gyan mudra, (index finger curled
under the thumb, other fingers straight), with the wrist resting on the left knee. Raise
your right arm up in the air, at a 60 degree angle, palm flat and face down towards the
earth. Keep the elbow straight.
Close your eyes, and recite the mantra, “I am the Light of my Soul, I am Bountiful, I am
Beautiful, I am Bliss. I am, I AM!” Listen to yourself as you speak, announcing to
yourself, to the world, your Creator, that you ARE the Light of the Soul. And feel
Beautiful as Woman.
Time: 3-11 minutes.

Shuniya means zero. The moment you become zero, then all powers will prevail through you.....the moment you become that, then everything radiates from you.
