On August 12th, 2008 a dear friend and fellow yogini left this life, and transitioned on to the next .
I had the privilege of meeting Bettina in January of 2007. We were both participating in our Level 1 Teacher Training course. Our lives could not have been more different. She was an accomplished actor from Germany who had lived in New York and LA. But, quickly we developed a friendship. Bettina's cancer returned in May that year, and although the prognosis was not good, she remained dedicated to her path. The way she lived her life with beauty and grace inspired me deeply.
I know that her radiance continues to shine in the next life. Thank you Bettina.
May the long time sun shine upon you, all love surround you, and the pure light within you, guide your way on....
